Trip to Uzbekistan!

Assalamualaikum and hey gaiz.

Just finished eating Mcd (McChicken and fries) after DOF Test 2. *don't even bother asking how was it zz. Today's entry is about my 7 days 7 night (28 July 2017 - 4 August 2017) trip to Uzbekistan! Actually I went to this trip during Week 12 in UTP *the deadliest week ever because we have 4 assignments and 1 quiz*. I did'nt want to go to Uzbek at first, but then my friend, Mok persuaded me to go. She's like "Kenapa kau taknak pergi??", and made me wondered like did I really make a bad choice by not going because, hey, tengah hectic week kot? kalau aku pergi, then i'll be coming back on week 13? which is 1 more week to study week and finals?? ARE YOU CRAZY? But then, in the night, I dont know what happen that made me decided to go. So here how it goes.

We went there with Uzbekistan Airways which took us 7 hours and 30 minutes. The tour package cost us around RM4500 per person because its a promo, so we got it cheap. We went there like under Minister of Tourism, because they wanted to promote their country. P/s : Uzbek just got their Independence on 31 August 1991.

We went to 3 cities in Uzbek, which are Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent (capital city).

My views:

Bukhara : I got the Alladin chills when I'm there, it feels so much like Alladin. There's not a lot of trees and look a bit like the desert I guess.

Samarkand : The second biggest province/state. It is the place where some great scholars reside. Such as Muhammad bin Ismail (Imam Al-Bukhary), Mirzo-Ulughbek (grandson of the Uzbek hero, Amir Temur) and one of Rasullulah companian which is Ibn Abbas. On top of that, the istan (land) also blssed with a few great school like Madrasah Sherdor and Ulughbek Madrasah. It was an honor to have the opportunity to visit this historical places! *reminds me of how Hursand (our tour guide) pronounce it*, sincerely I hope I have a second chance to come here again :)

My brother asked Fakhruddin (our tour guide too) on why there is no cats on the streets. He replied "we eat cats, they are lovely" LOL. He was joking ofc. I managed to see one cat throughout the trip.

Tashkent : the most advanced among the 3 cities, and its nice here. Like a normal city. I went chair-lifting on Tian Shan Humalai Mountain. The weather is very nice and its a bit chilly up there, its like 24-26 C there.

Foods : They eat fruits and vegetables first, then soup, rice, and main course (like lamb, chicken, mix grilled etc), and DESSERT. (ice cream)

Do I like the food? Well, as a ulam lover, tomatoes lover, yes I did. I DID. BUT because we ate the same thing for breaksfast, lunch and dinner, should I?? ahaha no offense, the food was good. Our main course was always lamb, yes it's delicious but because I ate it everyday so... yea. you understand me right. They wanted to give us the best they can offer, (like lamb) and for that I thank Uzbekistan asia tour. For giving the best for us. They deserve a big clap!

Presentation

Assalamualaikum and hi again peeps!
I have not been writing in quite some times now huh, and its a bad thing.
For some reason, I think my english is becoming more and more worse? Is that the right word?
Idk T___T
So I think I should write more to improve.

Kay today I'm talking about presentation people!

Presentation, a common problem which I face each and every time.
What is a presentation?

"A presentation is the process of presenting a topic to an audience. It is typically a demonstration, lecture, or speech meant to inform, persuade, or build good will. The term can also be used for a formal or ritualized introduction or offering, as with the presentation of adebutante."

Before starting my presentation, I will take a deep breath and selawat.
Then my mind will think
"Chill dude, its just your friends. YOUR FRIENDS. YOUR TEACHER. JUST SCORE THAT FREAKING MARK AND GET AN A. NOTHING ELSE IMPORTANT"

That's what I think. Each. And. Every. Time.
But.
It. Doesnt. Work. Each. And. Every. Time.
Which sucks.

My body always seems to do the opposite.

So I'm gonna give ya some tips which may be helpful.

Firstly, use simple words.
Yes, I know some of you like to use bombastic words, but if you are not comfortable saying it or you are just not sure of the meaning, DON'T. Simple is better. Besides, presentation are meant for people to understand, not merely just about that.

Next, talk slowly so that everyone can understand.
As I said, presentations are meant to make people understand about the certain topic the presenter is talking about. Talk slowly.

Moving on, look at the back or people's forehead instead of the eyes.
This is to reduce nervousness.

Furthemore, looks at someone you are comfortable and 'talk' to them.
See the "" symbol I put? It means look at someone thats there to support you, smile, and when they give you a thumbs up what so ever, it could really help. Seriously, someone once did it to me and I'm thankful to him :)

Next, again, practice.
Try practising in front of your friends or family and ask for their opinion. Be open for comments.

Avoid short forms.

Avoid slang.

Avoid moving too much.

Do not use crutch words.
What's a crutch words? Easy, the 'aaaa' 'aaaa' things that people tend to do when they are thinking. Silent is better. Even though I also got a problem with that LOLLLLLLLL

Don't forget to drink water.
This could come in handy so that your voice can come out nicely and not resulting in a frog-kind-voice if you know what I mean.

That's it I guess. hope it is helpful.

Me myself are still in the process of learning and being better at it. I hope you guys support me.

Tekan tekan!

Bye! have a good day :)

MAS week in UTP

Assalamualaikum, for my fellow readers.. I am now studying in..... jeng jeng jeng UTP!
Yes, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.
Now its been like almost 2 month I'm in UTP hoyeah
At first, I can stop myself from dumbfounded by the buildings and blocks especially the Chancellor Hall.
I still remember my first day there, I was so nervous I can't even understand what the facilitators at the register asked me. And my hands were shaking hahahaha LOL me -__-
The one I remembered the most, this one spectacled abang asked "whats the last of your ic digit number?"
and Im like "apa dia?" for 3 times i think hahahahahaha
last2 dia ckp melayu hahahahha
embarrassing...

whatever. whats done is done

Then I met my roommate for the first time,
she was talking about futsal etc etc and im like
first expression " wow she must be an athlete. Damn, I'm gonna beaten up if I say anything wrong"
lol
since im not the sport type sorreyh
then it turns out
she was the best roommate I could asked for! huhu
since she is very nice :)

Then MAS week came..
ugh it was a disaster I'm telling you
I got a fever and it was very bad
I cried once hahaha
I called my mom if I can go to UM which is nearer to my house
so that I can go home whenever I wanted to
My mom accepted the UM offer and then my fever when down
I'm cured and.. I dont feel like going to UM anymore since I already cope with the atmosphere hoho
Maybe I got a fever because the weather there is so effing hot im tellin ya
my old school *MJSC KuKla* seriously is effing cold
theres fog like every single morning and I sleep very well everyday
Not like here, where I sleep at the floor with my clothes wet because its too hot
Wow

Suddenly I feel lazy, here are the pictures I snapped during mas week, enjoy

To be continued..
